When J asked if I would take pictures for their surprise wedding in March, I was thrilled that I would be able to work with her again and capture such an important day in their lives.
J & C planned the entire wedding as a surprise…..
J and her stepdaughter had their hair and make up done at Ponytails & Horseshoes just off Whyte Ave. It was my first time being in the salon, but I was super impressed with the natural light (the make up artist did J’s make up right by the window…so, so, so important, I think…natural light), the staff are all so friendly and the salon is gorgeous. They also use Kevin Murphy!!! They even let J get changed into her wedding dress there. If you haven’t been there, I would highly reccomend checking it out!
J is so gorgeous in every sense. She has the sweetest most caring personality, is so down to earth and relaxed. <3

Beautiful bouquet…so simple.
J’s son walked her to meet C. <3 Not going to lie, I was tearing up behind my camera.
So sweet.
I could feel C and J’s love when they were looking at each other. I feel so grateful that I was there to capture their day. <3
