You may remember Shar & John’s Engagement Photoshoot, here.  On June 30th, their wedding day had arrived!

I arrived at Shar’s hotel room to shoot the details…..Can you believe she made the bouquet?  It was gorgeous.

 The ceremoney was at the Citadel.  I have never seen a groom more excited to see his future bride.  He was jumping up and down and dancing.  So full of life, love and happiness.  It truly gave me goosebumps.  After a wonderful ceremony, Shar and John danced back down the aisle.  It was so joyous!  The guests followed behind dancing away!  Talk about a great way to exit the ceremony.

This archway was one of the most fantastic arches I have ever seen at a wedding.  John and his friend actually created it.  If you are interested in having one made, please contact me and I will give you the contact information (rebeccamckayphotography@gmail.com) 

Onto the formals.  Shar and John have this magnetic connection.  One that is impossible to miss if you are with them.  It’s like magic.  They are amazing together, and I LOVE the images we captured during their formals.

Some of the amazing details that were at the reception.  Back stage passes, old records Shar made into centerpieces, and guitar picks for thank you gifts that said Shar picked John on one side, and John picked Shar on the other.  Fantastic!!!!!

Shar and John thank you so much for including me in your celebration!  I had a blast, even while I was crying through most of the speeches and giggling with laughter.  

I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you two love birds.
