At the end of February I was lucky enough to go home to Whitehorse to photograph a wedding.  While I was there an old friend contacted me to do portraits of her children.  Ashley and I went to highschool together.  After highschool we didn’t really stay in touch; hate to admit I’m this old, but I really don’t think the amazing world of facebook even existed back then.   When facebook came about, Ashley and I of course became friends and started messaging back and fourth.  Our friendship was reignited even stronger than before and each time we chat I see more and more how much we have in common.  The biggest thing we have in common is we both have 3 boys, roughly the same age….and more so, both of our eldest share the same name!  I was so excited to meet Ashley’s three beautiful boys and see their amazing new house.  As soon as I arrived at their house I felt right at home…everything about it, the house, the smells, and most of all the three boys, who reminded me ever so much of my own who were back in Edmonton.
