Jenna and I have been trying to get together for a Trash the Dress Session for almost a year now. When I emailed her to let her know I would be heading to Whitehorse, we both agreed we would meet the very first day I was home!
Jenna got married last summer, and even though it was so recent she absolutely surpassed any expectations I had for her trashing her dress.
We started at the S.S. Klondike (http://www NULL.yukoninfo NULL.com/whitehorse/info/ssklondike NULL.htm) , a historic Sternwheeler dating back to Yukon the Gold Rush. There was no mud at the SS Klondike though, so we decided to head up to the top of Grey Mountain. This Mountain reminds me of home. My home when I was growing up was at the base of this mountain in a neighborhood called Riverdale, funny how I didn’t see the beauty in it when I was growing up, but now as an adult I miss it like crazy.
At a spot on Grey Mountain we still couldn’t find mud at the top of the mountain, so Jenna decided to make her own with dirt and a bottle of water…so much fun!
